Auto Dealership jobs are not as popular anymore among Canadians

An Abacus Data survey revealed that millennials (people among the ages of 18-37) are not interested on working in an auto dealership in Canada.  Vehicle sales have reached a record high last year, and the trend is expected to continue. Even with this information out there, only one quarter of the people who participated on the survey, said they have considered working in different areas in an  auto dealership . Seems like millennials are interested in other type of employment outside of the automotive sales industry. Women were less interested in pursuing a career in the auto dealership industry.The increase on sales in the automotive industry has created new opportunities in areas like marketing, sales, IT, service, sales and management roles within the dealerships.
