You feel ready to make the purchase. But do you really know what you will be facing? When you feel ready to buy a vehicle, whether is new or used, you need to do some homework before heading to the dealership. It’s a large purchase you are about to do, and you hopefully will have this product for many years to come, so you need to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the deal you get. Have an idea of what you want. What are you looking for? A sedan, crossover, truck or an SUV? Maybe a sports car?   Choose a style of vehicle that goes with your daily life. Do you travel a lot? Do you live in a community with little space for parking? How many family members will be in the vehicle at a time? Along with many other questions. An Abacus Data survey revealed that millennials (people among the ages of 18-37) are not interested on working in an auto dealership in Canada.  Vehicle sales have reached a record high last year, and the trend is expected to continue. Even with this information out there, only one quarter of the people who participated on the survey, said they have considered working in different areas in an  auto dealership . Women were less interested in pursuing a career in the auto dealership industry. The increase on sales in the automotive industry has created new opportunities in areas like marketing, sales, IT, service, sales and management roles within the dealerships. In Canada there are more than 3,200 car and truck dealerships, employing about 150,000 people.  This online survey was responded by 2,000 millennials and it was conducted Dec. 22 to Jan. 8. T...
